Warren A. Broudy

Warren Broudy is an asset to his clients and to all his colleagues. A Managing Director with The Mercadien Group and Principal with Mercadien P.C., he pushes his staff to be the best they can be. As Chair of the Government Services and Compliance Oversight Groups, he leads the firm’s service offerings in these areas, mentoring associates, and diving into the complexities of regulations and contract compliance to provide effective solutions for his clients. Aside from regulatory and contract compliance, Warren specializes in internal controls, financial statement and compliance audits, management and financial reporting, and agreed-upon procedures for state and local authorities, state agencies, municipalities, and nonprofit and social service organizations. He also advises his clients on implementing and analyzing Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) pronouncements, New Jersey municipal statutes, and local finance notices.

An experienced accounting professional, Warren finds his work rewarding and takes pride in the firm’s broad growth. He is involved in the development of both the Compliance Oversight and Government Services Groups, which includes establishing a state-wide presence in the healthcare, commercial, and government industries. He continues to mentor directors and other associates within these groups. Warren is proud of the fact that individuals he once interviewed and assisted in hiring are now leaders within the firm. He finds it gratifying that he is able to retain clients year after year, reflecting that the services provided to them are above and beyond their expectations.

Warren previously worked at a local firm outside Philadelphia, where he obtained a well-rounded professional education. He performed audits, compilations, reviews, and tax compliance. He started at Mercadien as supervisor, where he worked closely with major state authorities and commercial clients, and ultimately worked his way to the Principal level.
