Stephanie Toplinski

Stephanie Toplinski is a director on Mercadien’s tax team. With over 15 years of experience, Stephanie works with privately held companies of various structures (S-Corporations, C-Corporations and Partnerships) as well as their respective owners. She is known for her ability to help her clients identify issues and works with her team and clients to develop a solution. As an integral part of this team, Stephanie oversees tax returns from start to completion including the important aspect of tax advisory and planning strategies customized to fit their individual needs. Additionally, she has worked on tax compliance for our clients with international transactions and reporting obligations.

Stephanie oversees the tax department’s Business Service Group and is responsible for developing and training the team, as well as scheduling to support the tax compliance and planning practice of the firm.

Stephanie was a staff accountant at Bassman, Laserow, Adelman, & Weiss, PC prior to joining Mercadien. In this role she built a solid foundation of preparing business tax returns as well as individual income tax returns.

Stephanie graduated from Rider University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy, and earned a Graduate Certificate in Taxation from Penn State University to complement her master’s degree in accounting.
She currently resides in Eastampton, NJ
