Benjamin McDannell

Benjamin McDannell is a director with Mercadien, P.C., Certified Public Accountants, which he joined in July 2013. As a member of the Firm’s Audit and Assurance and Private Company Service Groups, he supervises engagement teams in performing audits of commercial and nonprofit entities as well as employee benefit plans.

In the commercial sector, Ben has worked with clients in various industries including technology, manufacturing, capital management and leasing companies. He not only performs and reviews the various risk assessments associated with audit work, but also makes an effort to identify areas of improvement for clients based on their industry and regulatory risks they may be exposed to and discusses how they can strengthen their processes and control structure.

His nonprofit background spans a wide-array of privately and publicly supported organizations including those that are subject to compliance with Yellow Book requirements and Uniform Guidance. Ben has also worked closely with nonprofit clients to help with mergers and affiliations and various changes in regulations at the state level. Ben has always enjoyed working in a team environment and grew up working in customer service. Both of these skill sets allow him to effectively leverage audit teams to provide the best possible service to clients.

Ben resides in Lower Bucks County, PA.
