Elyssa Grodsky

Elyssa Grodsky is the Finance Director at Mercadien, P.C., Certified Public Accountants and is part of our operations team. Elyssa joined us in January of 2013 with over 15 years of financial analysis experience. Organization, a strong work ethic and a lighthearted attitude are keys to success for Elyssa.

She is responsible for providing strategic support to the CEO and Board of Directors in multiple executive level capacities, as well as supporting the internal accounting department and the HR and marketing teams. Her specializations encompass managing the firm’s budget, financial reporting (profitability analysis, tax reporting and tax return preparation), payroll, disbursements and treasury management.

Elyssa serves as confidant to the firm and provides credible counsel to its leadership. She demonstrates support of firm initiatives and actively contributes to successful strategy implementation.

Before transitioning to her current role, Elyssa worked for a mass media corporation moving her way up from Financial Analyst/Financial Manager of Administrative Services, to Finance Director of Consumer Marketing. Elyssa has experience working for a diverse range of companies. Along with having experience in the accounting industry, she also has the knowledge of working within the automotive, technology and publishing space doing financial work.
