A Director at the Mercadien Group, Caitlin Kolczynski is a member of the firm’s Family Office and Individual Services Group. She works with high net‑worth individuals and families, providing tax planning, compliance, and advisory services tailored to each client’s financial goals.
Ms. Kolczynski oversees the preparation and review of complex individual, gift, trust, and partnership tax returns, and assists clients with projections and strategic, multi‑year planning. Her experience includes income tax planning, charitable giving strategies, and supporting the ongoing financial management of closely held businesses.

She is also involved in estate planning and administration, collaborating with attorneys and other advisors to support efficient estate settlement and generational wealth transfers, while maintaining a focus on compliance and family considerations.

Caitlin takes a client‑focused approach to her work and regularly supports families through life transitions, liquidity events, and legacy planning, including working with younger generations as they become more involved in family wealth matters.

Prior to joining Mercadien, Ms. Kolczynski worked as an analyst at a Princeton‑based business valuation firm, where she performed valuation assignments for privately held operating and investment companies across multiple industries, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate planning, and financial and tax reporting.
