Bjondina Karpuzi

Bjondina Karpuzi is a managing director of The Mercadien Group; principal in Mercadien, P.C., CPAs; and Co-Chair of the firm’s Outsourced CFO Advisory practice. In this role, Bjondina serves as a trusted advisor to her clients, helping them navigate through complex financial challenges, performing special projects, preparing monthly reports, as well as assisting them with accounting and other financial processes so they can focus on what’s important – running their organization.

Before making any recommendations or decisions, Bjondina likes getting a full understanding of her clients. She takes a hands-on approach to build better relationships, to help her better understand her clients’ needs and objectives. Whether a company needs help in accounting and financial reporting, risk management, or strategic planning for growth and profitability, Bjondina is there to support them in any way she can. She takes the time to get to know each client, learn about their current operations, opportunities they have, and their long- and short-term goals, then provides them with sound advice and guidance to help them achieve those goals.

Additionally, Bjondina interprets financial data and provides valuable insights to help her clients improve their operations and financial performance, as well as develops budgets and forecasts, cash flow projections, and meaningful KPIs to help them stay on track.

In addition to working with privately-owned companies and nonprofit organizations, Bjondina has experience working with private schools, performing financial statement audits, reviews and compilations along with reporting, disclosures and compliance issues of organizations subject to New Jersey Department of Education, New Jersey Administrative Code and state and local reporting requirements. As such, Bjondina is a valuable asset to her clients in this space because she understands the complex rules and regulations they face.
