Mercadien Announces Executive Promotions; Names Three New Partners

Princeton, NJ & Philadelphia, PA – The Mercadien Group is pleased to announce several promotions within the firm’s corporate leadership team.  Ms. Bjondina Karpuzi, CPA, PSA, a member of the Private Company and Advisory Services Groups, was promoted to managing director of The Mercadien Group and principal in Mercadien, P.C., CPAs (the official titles of firm partners). Bjondina has been employed with Mercadien since 2008 and resides in Marlton, NJ.  Additionally, Ms. Holly Sabo, CPA, PFS, MST, CGMA, a member of the firm’s Individual and Family Office Services Group, was promoted to managing director of The Mercadien Group and principal in Mercadien, P.C., CPAs. Holly has been employed with Mercadien since 1998 and resides in Hamilton, NJ. Mr. Eric Whelan, CPA, MST, CGMA, a member of the firm’s Private Company Services Group was also promoted to managing director of The Mercadien Group and principal in Mercadien, P.C., CPAs. Eric has been with Mercadien since 1996 and resides in Forked River, NJ.

 Two professionals were promoted to the level of director: Mr. Benjamin McDannell, CPA, a member of the Nonprofit and Human Services Group and Private Company Services Group and resident of Morrisville, PA; and Mr. Raphael J. Carletti, CPA, a member of the Nonprofit and Human Services Group and resident of Burlington, NJ.

Three associates were promoted to manager:  Ms. Miroslava Juscakova, MBA, CAMS, a member of the Financial Institutions Services Group and resident of Whippany, NJ; and Ms. Christina Richardson, CAMS, also a member of the Financial Institutions Services Group and resident of Hackettstown, NJ. Ms. Ashley Webb, a member of the firm’s Operations Team and resident of Voorhees, NJ, was promoted to Marketing Manager.

An additional 19 professionals in various practice areas of the firm also were promoted.  Mr. Myron M.
