Philadelphia Chapter of the ACFE’s Annual Fraud Conference

Description: Managing Director Raji Sathappan, of Mercadien’s Financial Institutions Services Group, will be presenting a session on Fraud & Scandal – How Corporate Governance Should Handle at the Philadelphia Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) Annual Fraud Conference on December 2nd from 10 – 11:35 am.

This session will cover best practices in corporate governance, recognizing present weaknesses, impact of regulation to deter fraud ( i.e. Sarbanes Oxley), prominent fraud cases and root cause analysis of failings. At the end of session, attendees will be able to understand the role of corporate governance in fraud detection, prevention and in influencing corporate culture.
