PPP Loan Forgiveness – What You Need to Know

As organizations near the end of their covered period for the loan they received from the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), it is time to begin the loan forgiveness application process. Since the inception of the PPP, detailed guidance and clarification on loan forgiveness has been published on an ongoing basis, including the Paycheck Protection Program Flexibility Act (PPPFA) released at the beginning of June. We will review the key points of the PPPFA, modifications to provisions related to PPP loan forgiveness & the application process, as well as forms & updates from the lenders’ perspective.
