Central NJ IIA Fraud Conference

Description: Raji Sathappan, CPA, MBA, CRCM, CAMS, Managing Director with Mercadien’s Financial Institutions Services Group, will present at the Central NJ Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Fraud Conference on Fraud & Scandal – How Corporate Governance Should Handle, Wednesday, June 3, 2020.

This session will cover best practices in corporate governance, recognizing present weaknesses, impact of regulation to deter fraud ( i.e. Sarbanes Oxley), prominent fraud cases and root cause analysis of failings. At the end of session, attendees will be able to understand the role of corporate governance in fraud detection, prevention and in influencing corporate culture.
