With another successful commencement behind us, recent High Point University graduates are preparing to commence prestigious career paths around the world at Fortune 500 companies, international service programs, public school systems, top-tier law, medical and graduate school programs, and many other esteemed organizations thanks to their journey at HPU. Here’s a glimpse of one extraordinary senior from the Class of 2015:

Name: Madison Fedor

Hometown: Princeton, New Jersey

Major: Fedor graduated with a B.S.B.A. in Accounting on May 9.

Post-graduation plans: Fedor accepted a position as an entry level accountant at Mercadien in Princeton, New Jersey. In her position, Fedor will work on an audit team within the firm that specializes in governmental audits.

How HPU helped you get there: “High Point University has given me the confidence, knowledge and skills to not only thrive in the present, but to succeed in the future.”

Most impactful mentor at HPU: “Throughout my time at HPU, I have been surrounded by genuinely caring professors and inspirational friends. Specifically Mr. George Noxon, the head of the accounting department, has always been very helpful.”

Most impactful moment at HPU: “Handing in my accounting senior seminar project after working on in all semester. The final project was a semester-long project designed to test our knowledge on everything we’ve learned in all of our accounting classes. My group put so much effort into the project and it was really a great learning experience.”

Advice for underclassmen: “HPU has so much to offer – students should take advantage of this while they can!”
