Description: Warren Broudy, CPA, RMA, CGFM, CGMA, PSA & Digesh Patel, CPA, MBA, RMA, CGMA, PSA, Managing Directors with Mercadien’s Government Services Group will participate as panelists in the Governmental Accounting & Auditing Update Conference hosted by Rutgers University on Thursday, December 3rd. Warren will also give a presentation on Public Sector Auditing in the Virtual Environment.

The purpose of the conference is to bring leaders in public financial management to address the most
pressing issues and provide an update on current regulations, accounting pronouncements, auditing issues, and other subjects of interest. Participants will learn about current state fiscal matters from senior government financial leaders, including the Director of NJ Division of Local Government Services, as well as get an update on auditing, accounting, and financial management issues. The conference will also address the latest GASB pronouncements and governmental auditing issues. Presentations by notable speakers from the fields of government accounting, auditing, and other financial management areas are featured.

Prerequisites and advance preparation are not required. The conference offers 8.0 CPE credit hours for CPAs, RMAs, and for Municipal and County Finance Officers: 5 CPEs in Accounting and Auditing (Governmental), 2 CPEs in Budgeting, and 1 CPE in Other Ancillary areas.
