Venue: Frist Campus Center at Princeton University, Frist Lane
Princeton, NJ 08544

Description: Many nonprofits will be impacted by the required adoption of numerous new Accounting Standards Updates (ASUs) over the next few years. Implementing the new ASUs will be complex and require significant investments of time and money. To assist your organization with transitioning under the new guidance, we’ll review 3 key new accounting standards effective beginning in calendar year 2018.

Attendees of this workshop will learn the disclosure requirements and receive example disclosures, as well as implementation guidance for:

1)  Presentation of Financial Statements of Entities (ASU 2016-14)
2)  Revenue Recognition (ASU 2014-09, amended by 2015-14)
3)  Accounting for Contributions – Resource Recipients (ASU 2018-08)
