Description: Mercadien’s Nonprofit and Human Services Group is a proud sponsor of the NJAMHAA Virtual Spring Conference on April 5th, 2022. The virtual conference, Nurturing Diverse Communities, is meant to support and enhance communication throughout the mental health, substance use and I/DDs community.
The New Jersey Association of Mental Health and Addiction Agencies, Inc. (NJAMHAA) is a statewide trade association representing hospital-based and freestanding organizations that provide mental health care, substance use treatment and a broad range of other support services to more than 500,000 children and adults with mental health, behavioral, emotional and substance use disorders and intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DDs) each year.
The purpose of this virtual conference is to support and enhance communication throughout the mental health, substance use and I/DDs community; to maximize clinicians’ effectiveness, for example, with the use of evidence-based practices and telehealth, as well as implement strategies to increase staff recruitment and retention. This goal is achieved, in part, by having companies such as yours inform attendees about products and services that help enhance their effectiveness.
