Description: Lovepreet Buttar CPA, MBA, CGMA, PSA, Managing Director of Mercadien’s Nonprofit & Human Services Group is presenting a workshop session at the NJAIS Trustee Enrichment Day entitled, Effective Audit Committees and an Efficient Audit Process: Strategies, Insights, and Best Practices on Saturday, January 23rd.
Lovepreet will begin her presentation at 10am and will discuss the following topics:
- What role does the Audit Committee play in the evaluation of the audit? What is the Board’s role?
- What questions should you be sure to ask auditors?
- What about risk assessment and fraud?
