Description: The Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) Accounting Standards Update (ASU) 2016-14 marks the largest change to nonprofit accounting guidelines in more than 20 years. The new ASU will significantly impact nonprofits, potentially costing them substantial $$ if they are not ready for it.

Join us on Tuesday, October 10th for a complimentary breakfast seminar and find out what is included in the new accounting guidance, when the changes are effective, and how preparation and implementation will affect your nonprofit. Financial and operational policies will be discussed and a checklist of recommended measures provided, so that nonprofit leaders are informed and able to act effectively.

The seminar is sponsored by Mercadien’s Nonprofit & Human Services Group and will be presented by Kerri Padgett, Training Director, Your Part-Time Controller LLC, a consulting firm specializing in serving the nonprofit industry.

Registration and continental breakfast will begin at 9:00 am and the presentation will take place from 9:30 – 11:00 am at Mercadien’s Offices – 3625 Quakerbridge Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619.

1.5 CPE credits in Accounting are offered at this free, group-live seminar. Program level – basic. No advance preparation or prerequisites required.
