Despite renewed focus on mortgage compliance and fair lending practices, violations of the
Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) remain common. The HMDA regulations have gone through many iterations and revisions since CFPB introduced the new data points
as part of the Dodd Frank Act in 2017.
At this complimentary, group-live, 90-minute seminar, attendees will learn:
- the amendments made to HMDA by the
Economic Growth and Regulators Relief and Consumer Protection Act of May 2018
and the CFPB interpretative and procedural rules; - to identify specific lender responsibilities to maintain HMDA compliance;
- to recognize the main HMDA regulatory reporting errors and how to avoid them.
