Development Programs

Mentoring Program |
| Our mentoring program is for
everyone. From your first day, you will be assigned
a team buddy, who will help you acclimate to your new
position within the firm. You will also be assigned
a team mentor who will help you develop the skills necessary
to be successful in your role. Later in your career,
you may elect to mentor one on one with one of Mercadien’s
managers, directors or partners who will help you develop
and achieve career milestones. |

Partner Development Program |
| This training program, called
the Partner Development Program (PDP), is an educational
series designed to enhance business development abilities,
leadership skills, and client service excellence. Utilizing
a character and competence leadership model, the PDP
works with each individual to identify strengths and
development areas. Over a two year period, participants
will attend peer coaching groups and work with a facilitator
to build and enhance proficiencies in leadership management.
Additionally, each participant will work closely with
a chosen mentor of the Mercadien team to further support
their pursuit of achieving their goals. |

Summer Hours |
| Our summer hours start Memorial
Day weekend through Labor Day. A great way to beat the
shore traffic, this condensed work week allows our associates
to kick-start their weekend beginning at 1:00 on Friday
afternoon! |

Condensed Work Schedules |
Need to free up your schedule
during the week? Retired, but looking for meaningful
work a few days a week? No problem. Our team will
work with you to customize a work schedule that fits
your lifestyle. We will take a look at scheduling options
such as a condensed work week, part-time schedules,
or a customized alternative schedule. Remember - creativity
is one of our core values!

Technology
|

| With
our own technology firm, Mercadien Technologies provides
us with cutting edge solutions. Our paperless
environment allows us to create efficiencies by eliminating
cumbersome data entry work. All of our accountants are
issued laptops with remote access to e-mail and all
software programs utilized here in the office. From
entry to partner - we are all wired wherever we may
be located! |

| Our A&A and Tax teams meet
on a weekly and bi-weekly basis to review new regulations

where our subject matter specialists explain to our
